Unlike traditional dating websites, eHarmony matches compatible men and women based on 29 Dimensions of Compatibility that are predictors of long-term relationship success. These 29 Dimensions will require you to fill out many many forms, so have a lot of time on your hands when you sign up. If after you fill out the forms and you don’t have any matches, just put yourself in a higher income bracket then suddenly you will be worthy of love. For some reason the 29 Dimensions of Compatibility seem more like 1 Dimension.
I was on eHarmony for a year and in that time I had a total of 1200 matches…I didn’t meet ONE of them in person! Not a single date. I initiated communication with probably 90% of the people I was matched with. Of course, only a very small few ever responded at all to my communication request (probably 20 people out of 1200) and of those all of them disappeared at some point or another. What was also frustrating is that NONE of them ever requested communication from me…NONE!! I mean, I’m no Megan Fox or anything but I think I’m fairly attractive. Anyway, my subscription ended and of course, THE VERY NEXT DAY a match I had got a week before mysteriously sends me a communication request…seriously eHarmony…how dumb do you think I am?
After 5 months, not one even 1 date, nothing at all. I am 6 feet tall and athletic. In addition, I did have pictures posted. More than 90 percent of the matches remained in the introductory stage , they never viewed my profile.
